Motorola ET1

In the beginning of 2012 Motorola Solutions introduced their first enterprise-oriented tablet, featuring wide-format 7-inch display, capacitive multi-touch with sensors and cameras, running on Android operating system.

ET1 is powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU, has 8GB of internal storage, along with a 32GB microSD card slot. This rugged tablet features a seven-inch, Gorilla Glass capacitive touchscreen with 1024 x 600 resolution. Weighing in at 1.4 pounds, the ET1 also boasts an eight megapixel rear camera, designed for 720p video capabilities and a simpler front camera for videoconferencing purposes. Moreover the battery is user-replaceable - the producer estimates a battery life of around five and a half hours when streaming video over WiFi. Plus, retailers can choose to equip the tablet with a variety of accessories, including a barcode reader, magnetic stripe reader, hand-strip and holster.

Network access is only available through standard wireless connectivity, Bluetooth v2.1 with enhanced data rate (EDR) and a GSM module.

Very handy tablet, sturdy and resilient. With a good touch responsiveness and decent screen resolution. Definitely one of the best 7-inches on the market.
